Analyst/Associate

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Serving as a key member of the deal team in the underwriting and loan approval process. Develop initial screening materials, draft term sheet proposals, perform extensive underwriting due diligence, prepare and seek formal loan approval and assist in closing of transactions;
  
  
• Preparation of a comprehensive loan package including write-up of issuer and transaction financial analysis, industry and market trend analysis, financial modeling, and presentation of the potential lending opportunity to the investment committee;
  
  
• Managing assigned portfolio investments to monitor account performance; monitor/report on assigned portfolio and ensure compliance with covenants and other loan documents;
  
  
• Creating presentations for both internal and external use as well as other special strategy related projects that may arise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required 
• At least two years of investment banking, private equity, mezzanine or leveraged finance transaction experience 
• Strong financial statement analysis, financial modeling and valuation skills 
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills 
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a commitment to a rapidly-growing, entrepreneurial environment 
• Team player (very important); be a part of a small team and handle a wide range of responsibilities 
• Strong interpersonal skills and substantial self-initiative who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment 
• Completion of a formal credit training program is a plus

Compensation: Market-based compensation, including annual bonus, profit sharing, pension plan and 401K.
